Hello, I'm most known on PSO (Phantasy Star Online) as Morpheus. I play this game since 2001, starting on the DC (Dreamcast), passing for the PSOv.2 still in the same console, importing later on a GC (GameCube) the japanese version of PSO Episode I & II and it's keyboard (yes, the ASCII one). By the way, i forgot to mention it, I'm portuguese, living in the country.

But I'm surelly not here to tell the story of my life, I would probably put you all up to sleep, I'm here, presenting this (short) site to tell you that since I stopped playing PSO Epi I & II on the GC, i tried for several times look for a game that could replace PSO in my gaming like. After all that time, I found out that such "personal quest" was impossible to reach...

Finally I heard rumours about some PC (Computer) version of PSO that was about to come out and started searching on the web to see if it was true. After some research I was able to find out the link to dowload the FULL VERSION of the game, but it was way good to be true, I later found out that SEGA had the lame idea (in my personal opinion) to make Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst (the PC version of PSO Epi I & II) a MMORPG, meaning, it's specifically online and your characters are saved on PSO servers and not on your hard drive (HDD), fine by me, but I would like to be able to play the game offline! Like I did previously in the consoles!

Anyway, after my research, the download, the instalation and a new research to put the game to work, I was able to play it thanks to "Metal Sonic MKII" and "game player s" from GameSpot forums. The guide I'm going to present wouldn't be able without them since I can't speak a word in japanese (well... actually i can say "matta ne" and "arigato" hehe!).

Just to remember, this guide is in no way to offend or damage anybody, the game can be downloaded for free from the oficial website, this guide will only help non-japanese players (that miss PSO from the consoles or are wishing to give it a first trie in the PCs) to register the game beeing able to try it and who knows to buy a Hunter's License after the trial period. As for the trial period, it's not for 15 days has many people is spreading around the internet. Actually, you can play the game online for the long as you wish, as far as you don't reach Level 20 with your character. (Thanks to "Slayer SOD" from NeoSeeker forums for telling me about the trial period feature)
